International and Economic Relations between Oman and Turkey

In this study, developing Oman-Turkey relations and possible working areas in politics, economy and cultural studies will be examined. First, economic relations will be elaborated. It is aimed to search that if the two economies have a nature of ?complementary? features. Second the two states? ?third party policies? political and international relations will be probed and compared. In a vide view, Oman and Turkish foreign policies show same similar specific features in third party policies, such as Qatar relations, Iran perspectives and good relations with the West and the US. Third, two countries bilateral relations in International politics, regional politics and international political economy aspects in chronological order.Forth, similarities and differences between two foreign relations will be studied comparatively. Fifth, some policy alternatives and futuristic implementations will be followed in the project. ?What kind of cultural, economic and political projects could be developed and implemented to enhance two actors? relations? will be asked and strived to answer in the conclusion part of this project. During this study, two countries? Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and Ministry of Defense (MoD) will be visited and some important persons and decision-makers will be interviewed with prepared and step-questions to enlighten current situation and possible actions to develop two countries? economic and international relations. Potentially two workshops will be held in MOFAs of two countries. 2 reciprocal keynote speakers will enrich those mentioned workshops. Wherefore the fact of the lack of literature review on this topic, this study will give a birth of at least 1 article, 1 conference paper, 2 workshops, 1 seminar and 1 media interview. Those will fill up the gap and lack of this topic and help to the scholastic literature. It will also help to develop two countries? relation in practice
