Academic adjustment and its relationship to career locus of control among the university students in Sultanate of Oman.

The purpose of this study is to assess academic adjustment and its relationship to career locus of control among the university students in Sultanate of Oman. The study attempts to answer the following questions: 1- What is the extent to which university students have academic adjustment? 2- What is the most common career control orientation among university students? 3- Is there a relationship between academic adjustment and career locus of control? 4- Are there significant differences in academic adjustment due to gender, major, GPA, and university? 5- Are there significant differences in career locus of control due to gender, major, GPA, and university? The sample will consist of (2000) undergraduate students in Sultanate of Oman. An academic Adjustment Scale and a career locus of control scale will be designed to assess dependent variables. To answer study questions; means, standard deviations, correlation coefficients, MANOVA, ANCOVA, and Post Hoc comparisons will be conducted.
